About the Project
HEALTHYTOMATO focuses on a relatively low-cost, practical disease-development risk warning and detection system for small and medium-sized greenhouses.
The system brings together two AI approaches. The first evaluates disease-development risk using temperature, relative humidity and other microclimate data together with plant and greenhouse characteristics. The second analyses possible disease symptoms in RGB, multispectral and hyperspectral leaf imagery.
Scientific and commercial greenhouse data will be processed under shared protocols. The integrated system will later be piloted under different greenhouse conditions and compared with expert observations.
